Project Description
YALM Food hall was a complete strip out and refit of an ex Jamie’s Italian site over 3 floors and a basement. Being a listed building in the beautiful Royal Arcade in Norwich caused its fair share of issues to be resolved and overcome but the finished product is completely worth the challenge.
The works comprised of retaining as much as possible of the existing infrastructure and services whilst creating a completely unique space for a unique style of dining.
This being said works included two new incoming electrical mains to the building and a completely new ventilation system to cater for the new kitchens and layout.
On the ground floor there is a coffee and cocktail bar and a cheese and wine bar including a conveyor belt display system along with a seating area.
On the 1st floor we created 7 individual kitchens to cover a huge variety of different cooking styles and a large combined pot wash area.
Our fit out included all aspects of the works from mechanical, ventilation and electrical through to all the final finishes, decoration, fixtures and fittings.
